Our Story
A South East Queensland based business, Phoenix has risen from the ashes of traditional composting to lead the way with ‘Best Practice’ technologies and processing with respect to organic materials processing. Our mantra is ‘Quality wins’ and with that, since 2020 we have re-developed our business in line with a well thought strategy to place ourselves at the heart of the organics waste and re-use circular economy.
Sustainability is a word used in many contexts but really starts at home. We are founded on an engaged workforce who believe in what we do and want that same as our business leaders.
We manufacture soil conditioners, compost and landscape soils and if the customer has a particular requirement, we are happy to work to that as well.
Quality starts with the feedstock and the management of that commences prior to arrival at Phoenix. Some organic feedstocks require continuous quality management and for that we have in place a dedicated process for removal of unwanted non-organic matter.

Established in 1999, Phoenix Power Recyclers is a family owned and operated business. In 2018 another family joined the business and Phoenix set about a new journey to be a name in the industry for supply of quality service and products.
Our products are run through tests on site which includes growth test, and should a client wish with our on-site laboratory and scientific resource we can work up bespoke solutions.
Phoenix has achieved the following accreditations:
- ISO9001 accredited Quality Management System,
- IS014001 accredited Environmental Management System and
- Australian Certified Organic (permitted input and specific products)
Phoenix process & products are focused on continuous improvement and use the following Australian Standards AS4419 and AS4454 as a baseline only.
